An exact price before you book
Tell me the car and the windows. Your quote is for your car — not a range, not a guess.

I tint from my own home garage in Princeton. Asking you to my home is the clearest way I know to say I stand behind every window I fit.

Eight years ago, I packed up my life in the UK and moved to Texas after marrying my Texan wife. My journey here began in the cell tower industry, working high above the ground to help build out the region’s wireless infrastructure. Before that, I served in the British Army, including a tour in Iraq—an experience that instilled in me a deep appreciation for discipline, precision, and doing things right the first time.
Today, I’ve taken that same high-stakes attention to detail and poured it into Obsidian Tint Co. Whether I’m tinting a daily driver or working on a home, my goal is simple: deliver spotless, high-performance window film installations with the honesty and quality you expect from a local business.

Obsidian Tint Co works out of my own garage in Princeton, Texas. I turned it into a proper studio — black walls, bright hexagon lights, a clean floor — but it is still my home, and I am proud to open the door to it.
Inviting you to drive up to my house says more than any promise on a website. I only do it because I have complete faith in the film I fit and in the way I fit it.

I want to be the tint shop you call again — for your next car, the windows at home, the car your kid drives next. That only happens one way: by doing every job as if it were for a friend who will be back.
So I keep it simple: an exact price before you book, a shade that is legal on your front doors, and film cut for your glass, fitted carefully and looked over with you before you leave.

Send your car and the windows you want. I reply with the exact price and a time — and the studio’s address comes with your booking.

Your car comes into the studio and stays indoors. It is the only car there, so the whole bay is about yours.

Union film is shaped for each window and fitted pane by pane, the edges finished tight to the glass.

I go over the finished glass with you, then tell you how to look after it while it settles.

The room your car spends its afternoon in.

I check your shade against Texas law before anything is cut: 25% or lighter beside the driver.

Before you drive away I go over the glass with you and tell you how to look after it.
